Rubio confirms that Washington reserves the right to veto foreign investments in Greenland

 U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the current agreement regarding Greenland prevents any of Washington's adversaries from investing in the island without U.S. and Danish approval.

Rubio added that the U.S. would be able to build new military facilities to deploy a missile defense shield covering all of North America. Greenland maintains internal autonomy within the Kingdom of Denmark.
