Saudi Aramco informed European customers with supply contracts that they would not receive Saudi oil next month following the disruption of the East-West pipeline, which was attacked by drones.
The infrastructure connects Saudi Arabia's eastern oil fields to the Red Sea.
European refineries typically receive these shipments via the Egyptian Mediterranean port of Sidi Kerir, which is linked to the Red Sea by pipeline.
European countries belonging to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development imported 577,000 barrels of Saudi crude per day in June.
Poland's Orlen has already launched more than ten tenders since Friday to find alternative supplies.
