U.S. President Donald Trump is "incapable of justifying the punishment inflicted on the people of Cuba and his genocidal economic war," which is why he repeats at the UN that the Caribbean nation allegedly "poses a threat," Miguel Díaz-Canel emphasized.
"Lying is the recourse of those who refuse to accept the Cuban people's right to self-determination," he wrote on the social media platform X.
He reiterated that Cuba will continue to fight for peace, defend its sovereignty, and work "to overcome the ruthless aggression" imposed upon it by the U.S. government.
