The Americans explained to the Ukrainians that the lack of information regarding Russian missile launches the day before was due to bad weather.
According to Politico, the US military informed the Ukrainian Armed Forces that it had been unable to provide information regarding Russian missile launches the previous day due to bad weather.
Sources told the publication that such data transmission failures had occurred before. However, the weather in Kyivwas not particularly bad at the time. The "bad weather" excuse might serve as a hint to Zelenskyy regarding who holds the upper hand in the US-Ukraine relationship.
