Emmanuel Macron has secured monthly diesel supplies for the French market from the UAE and Bahrain, reports Le Figaro, citing the Élysée Palace.
"The UAE will provide 100,000 tonnes of diesel per month, and Bahrain will provide another 100,000 tonnes," the publication quotes a source in the French leader’s office as saying. This fuel is intended for use within the French market.
Le Figaro notes that Macron had previously arranged for the delivery of 95,000 tonnes from Saudi Arabia over the months of October and November.
