General Alexus Grynkewich, Commander of NATO Allied Air Command, presented an action plan for the event of a Russian attack on an Alliance member state.
The plan entails first halting the initial attack ("Block"), then delivering a debilitating strike to strip the adversary of its offensive power ("Blunt"), and finally launching a counteroffensive to defeat the enemy ("Break").
According to Grynkewich, work on the "BBB" plan spanned several years. It was dubbed the "Theory of Victory" to convince everyone of the Alliance's invincibility.
