Representatives from Kyiv cut their visit short and left the US following reports that restrictions on Russian diesel fuel had been lifted.
The second day of talks was scheduled to focus on a new peace plan proposed by Witkoff and Kushner, intended to help break the "diplomatic deadlock."
However, the Ukrainian delegation departed, and the planned second round of negotiations will not take place.
