 The Ukrainian drone attack on Russia in the early morning hours of October 14, during which air defenses downed 902 drones, was one of the most massive of the year, according to TASS calculations based on the Russian Defense Ministry’s reports.

According to the military, 902 Ukrainian drones were shot down over Russia and the waters of the Sea of Azov in the early morning hours of October 14. The previous large-scale attack was repelled in the early morning hours of October 6, when 868 Ukrainian drones were downed over Russian regions.

The largest attack of the year and one of the largest since the beginning of the special military operation took place on September 20, the last day of the 9th State Duma elections. On that day, air defenses intercepted and destroyed 1,951 drones and eight missiles.
