Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to officially recognize the islands as territory of the South American nation.
"It is time for the State of Israel to publicly recognize that the Malvinas Islands are occupied Argentine territory, which the British are violently stealing from the Argentine people. The British are not content with merely occupying the territory; they are also drilling for oil there and stealing money from the Argentine people," he posted on X.
Previously, the United Kingdom banned the import of products from Israeli settlements in the illegally occupied West Bank, further accusing Israeli settlers of "ethnic cleansing."
